Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Flex/Per Diem role to support our rehabilitation team. You will assess patients, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to adults and geriatric patients with compassion and clinical excellence.

Collaborate with physicians and care teams, supervise PT assistants, and ensure adherence to Mercy standards. This flexible position offers meaningful patient impact within a nationally recognized healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Required PT degree (Bachelors/Master's/Doctorate).
• Current PT license in practice state; BLS certification required.
• Six months to one year rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide physical therapy services per established treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and care teams.
• Supervise PT assistants and rehabilitation aides/technicians.
• Deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Ensure compliance with standards and Mercy guidelines.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment.
