Job summary

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (Flex/Per Diem) in Missouri to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services in collaboration with physicians and care teams. You will supervise PTAs and aides, deliver care to adult and geriatric patients, and ensure adherence to Mercy standards while promoting patient-centered outcomes in a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification before independently caring for patients.
• Preferred 6 months to 1 year rehab experience with adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide physical therapy services per established plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and care teams.
• Supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehabilitation staff.
• Deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Ensure compliance with Mercy standards and state practice acts.
• Support a positive, patient-centered care environment.
