Mercy in Springfield, MO is seeking a Physical Therapist (Flex/Per Diem) to evaluate patients, design treatment plans, and provide therapy services. The role collaborates with physicians and care teams to restore mobility and function and offers flexible scheduling to meet patient and department needs.

You will supervise assistants, work with adult and geriatric populations, and ensure compliance with state licensure and Mercy standards.

Qualifications

• Education in Physical Therapy: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate required.
• Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the state of practice; BLS certification required.
• 6 months to 1 year rehab experience; adult/geriatric patient experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and assess patient needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide physical therapy services per established treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervise and direct Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides/Technicians.
• Deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Ensure compliance with standards and Mercy Service Standards.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment.
