Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy under established plans. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to support adults and geriatric patients in achieving mobility and function.

This flex/per-diem role offers a patient-centered environment and the opportunity to impact quality of life through compassionate rehabilitation services at Mercy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification (must be obtained prior to independently caring for patients).
• Six months to one year of rehabilitation experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide physical therapy services in accordance with established treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Supervise and provide direction to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides/Technicians.
• Deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Ensure compliance with departmental standards, state practice acts, and Mercy Service Standards.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment.
