Job summary

Takeda is seeking a part-time donor screener/phlebotomist for BioLife in Indianapolis. You will greet donors, collect vital signs, manage donor charts, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced plasma center.

The role requires evenings, weekends, and holiday availability with 4–6 hour shifts. You’ll use the Donor Information System and support donor compensation while contributing to center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1).
• 1+ years in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs.
• Use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes.
• Work a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.
