Job summary

BioLife is seeking a dedicated part-time Plasma Donor Screener to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will greet donors, conduct basic donor screening, and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. The role emphasizes reliable scheduling and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include donor screening, charting, and using the Donor Information System, with shifts that may include weekends and holidays. Training is provided to ensure high-quality donor care and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly with donors and team members.
• Demonstrated reliability for scheduled shifts and adherence to procedures.
• Experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Maintain donor charts and coordinate donor compensation in the information system.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes and implement approved changes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
