Job summary

Takeda is seeking part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support to assist BioLife donors. The role emphasizes customer service, donor safety, and accurate record-keeping within a fast-paced center environment.

Responsibilities include donor screening, vital signs, chart preparation, and coordination of donor compensation. Availability for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to walk/stand for the shift
• Evenings, weekends and holidays are required
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
• Lift to 5 lbs., occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and distance hearing are important
• Prolonged glove wear due to contact with bloodborne pathogens
• 1+ year experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring their safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts and records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement approved changes.
• Work varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays to support donors.
