Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy assistant in Avondale, AZ. Shifts are 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, with weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

You will provide donor screening and phlebotomy support and report to the Plasma Center Manager. We offer paid, interactive training and a supportive team environment focused on reliability and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing ability.
• 90% of tasks require glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years minimum experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
