Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support center operations in Tucson. You will greet donors, perform screenings, record vital signs, and ensure safety during scheduled donor appointments.

This role offers flexible 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days a week, including weekends and holidays, with paid training and onboarding. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and help maintain high quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes per procedures.
• Work shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
