Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our growing team and support ABA-based instruction under the direction of a BCBA.

The role focuses on implementing behavior support plans, collecting data on client behavior, and collaborating with families to promote meaningful changes. Part-time, fee-for-service schedule with availability after school, evenings, and late evenings.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or a GED and have 24 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth or families
• An associates degree or higher in either a human, social, or educational services discipline, or a degree or certification related to behavior management from an accredited community college or educational institution and have 12 months experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and have 12 months experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior support plans to reduce problematic behavior and provide ABA-based instruction.
• Monitor and collect data on client behavior and report to supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and family to support meaningful behavior changes.
