Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team in Massachusetts. The role is part-time and fee-for-service, focusing on implementing ABA-based instruction and data-driven behavior support under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will monitor client progress, collect data, and report findings while working closely with families to achieve meaningful behavioral changes. A variety of qualifications are listed, including experience with developmental disabilities and RBT

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older per MA ABA program requirements.
• Availability after school, evening and late evening hours.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions in applied settings preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate approach to care.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• Access to laptop/CPS, high-speed internet, and a phone.

Responsibilities

• Implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior.
• Provide ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills.
• Monitor client behavior and collect data for reporting to the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and the client’s family to support meaningful changes.

Education

High school diploma or GED with 24 months experience with developmental disabilities

Associate degree or higher in relevant field

RBT certification with 12 months experience
