Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team in Massachusetts. The role involves implementing behavior support plans and providing ABA-based instruction under the direction of a supervising BCBA.

The position is part-time, fee-for-service, with after-school, evening, and late-evening availability, requiring data collection, and collaboration with families to promote meaningful behavior changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 24 months experience with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth or families.
• An associate's degree or higher in a related discipline and 12 months experience with the target population.
• Certification as an RBT by the BACB and 12 months experience with the target population.

Responsibilities

• Implement clients’ behavior support plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Collect data on client behavior and report to the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with the client’s family and supervising BCBA to support meaningful changes in behavior.
• Provide ABA-based instruction to promote the development of new skills.
