Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our growing team in a part-time, fee-for-service role. The technician will implement behavior support plans under the direction of a BCBA and provide ABA-based instruction to help clients develop new skills.

The role requires applying data collection, reporting to the supervising BCBA, and working closely with the client’s family to facilitate meaningful changes in behavior. Prior related experience and LOC requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 24 months experience with developmental disabilities or related populations.
• Associate degree or higher in human/educational services or related field with 12 months experience.
• RBT certification with 12 months experience in relevant settings.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior support plans to reduce problematic behavior.
• Provide ABA-based instruction to promote skill development.
• Monitor and collect data on client behavior and report to supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with BCBA and family to support meaningful behavioral changes.
