Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Flex Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist at our Fulton Market office in Chicago, IL. You will perform venipuncture and provide front-desk and lab support, delivering an exceptional patient experience across multiple offices.

This full-time role requires strong communication, teamwork, and comfort with diverse tasks—from specimen handling to billing support—while upholding our patient-first care model and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service abilities and communication skills.
• Comfort working across clinical and administrative tasks.
• Proficiency with common software and office tech.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions for a positive in-office experience.
• Provide venipuncture and extend scope duties per office needs.
• Handle front desk tasks including check-in, scheduling and insurance verification.
• Support lab operations: specimen labeling, handling and processing.
• Respond to patient messages and assist providers with clerical duties.
• Open/close duties and maintain office look and supplies.
• Utilize Slack, G-Suite, Zoom and EMR in daily tasks.
• Assist multiple offices within the market as needed.
