Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our Chicago team, performing venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups. You will collect specimens for drug screens, handle data entry, and assist with billing while delivering excellent customer service at multiple sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience). Weekend hours on rotation and travel to various Chicago locations are possible.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomist must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
