Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a flexible kitchen staff member to support meal service on an as-needed basis across our operations. You will assist with setup, food prep, and maintaining safe holding temperatures.

You will operate basic kitchen equipment, keep areas clean, and follow recipes and HACCP guidelines. This role requires reliability, good communication, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to follow simple written recipes and directions.
• Comfort with work in a fast-paced food service environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Assist in the preparation of foods according to menu plans and recipes.
• Operate basic kitchen equipment with proper training and safety.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; practice FIFO.
• Maintain clean kitchen and cafeteria areas and assist with dishwashing.
