Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking on‑call kitchen staff to assist with daily food preparation, setup of serving lines, and proper food temperatures. The role requires following Opaa!’s recipes, batching for the day, and maintaining clean, organized areas.

Employees will operate kitchen equipment with proper certification, manage inventory using FIFO, and assist in serving and cash handling as part of daily duties. Safety and teamwork are emphasized throughout this position.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• Language Skills: ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Mathematical Skills: basic arithmetic for measurements and portions
• Reasoning Ability: apply basic instructions to tasks
• Machines, Tools, Equipment, and Work Aids: common kitchen equipment and software

Responsibilities

• Assist in set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at required temperatures
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; batch cook and present attractively
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and inventory following FIFO procedures
• Handle customer monies and operate POS; complete daily paperwork and timekeeping
• Follow HACCP and safety procedures; attend required trainings and meetings
