Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks a hardworking food service team member to assist with daily serving line setup and meal preparation according to facility menus. You will maintain temperatures, stock supplies, and help ensure fast, friendly service to students and staff.

The role requires basic reading and math, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a busy kitchen environment while upholding Opaa!’s core values and HACCP standards. Eligible for varied pay by state and position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow recipes.
• Strong communication with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and keep food at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes, plan ahead for next day.
• Operate slicers, mixers, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and dishwashing area.
• Stock milk coolers and restock items as needed for service.
• Handle customer monies, run POS, and ensure only reimbursable meals pass.
• Record daily production and clock hours in ADP; communicate shifts.
