Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to teach ESL students online using the Cosmo curriculum. Classes are 50 minutes, 1 on 1, with a flexible schedule and a minimum commitment of six months. Teachers engage K-12 students in the US, Canada, and Asia, including ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong.

This independent contractor role pays $20 USD per class plus incentives. Applicants need a Bachelor's Degree, 3 years of relevant teaching experience, and a reliable internet connection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; TEFL preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Fast and reliable internet; Windows or Mac PC; 6,000+ CPU.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
