Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 tutors deliver 50-minute, one-on-one ESL lessons using the Cosmo curriculum. You set a flexible weekly schedule and work with students based in Singapore and Hong Kong. This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years teaching K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL, and a fast, reliable internet connection.

Availability 6-9 AM EST weekdays or weekends is ideal. Pay is $20 USD per class plus incentives; you’ll update availability in the Cosmo App, prepare materials, and provide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; TEFL preferred.
• 3 years of teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents and students.
• Attend all classes on time from a quiet, professional setting.
• Collaborate with Cosmo staff as needed.
