Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced ESL educators to provide 1:1 tutoring to K-12 students using Cosmo curriculum. This remote position offers a flexible schedule with 50-minute classes and a requirement to meet a minimum weekly availability.

Tutors will work with ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong and may interact with parents and Cosmo staff to ensure high-quality lessons. Independent contractor role paying $20 per class with additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and a Windows or Mac PC.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
