Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 offers ESL tutoring to K-12 students with a flexible, self-directed schedule. You will teach 50-minute 1-on-1 sessions to ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

This independent contractor role pays $20 USD per class with additional incentives. You must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant teaching experience; TEFL is preferred but not required. A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
