UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a customer service oriented clinic clerk to support front-desk operations in a busy clinic. Under supervision, you will check in scheduled and add-on patients, route calls, enter demographic and charge data, and assist with revenue-related clerical tasks.

This role emphasizes outstanding service to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff. Qualified candidates have at least one year of customer service experience and basic knowledge of medical terminology, PC

Competenze

One year of customer service experience required.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and advanced knowledge of PC applications, software, and database management.
Ability to perform math and bookkeeping skills.
Exceptional telephone and customer service skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Mansioni

Check in scheduled and add-on patients to the clinic.
Answer telephone and route calls.
Enter demographic and charge data into system.
Check patients out of the clinic and perform patient follow-up as necessary.
Perform clerical duties related to collection, deposit & reconciliation of clinic revenue.
Provide assistance at the Self Check-In Kiosk depending on clinic needs.
Consistently demonstrate outstanding customer service to UAHSF patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
