Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver patient care within the scope of training at a franchised AFC location. The APP will work collaboratively with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction levels.

Duties and benefits may vary by franchise. Responsibilities include comprehensive histories and examinations, developing medical assessments, ordering diagnostic studies, and initiating appropriate treatment or referrals.

Qualifications

• Board certification with ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA.
• Active, current PA or NP licensure in the practicing state, plus DEA and state-controlled substance certificate.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient histories, reviews, and develop medical assessments; order labs and imaging as needed.
• Formulate diagnoses and refer to appropriate facilities or resources.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization for critical situations.
• Interpret patient data to guide management and treatment.
• Provide patient education and healthcare promotion guidance.
• Other duties as assigned by franchise location.
