Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients within the scope of training under governing board approval. The APP collaborates with clinicians and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction, serving at a franchised location with duties/benefits that may vary by franchise.

Responsibilities include taking histories, forming diagnoses, ordering tests, and managing patient care.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Board-certified by ANCC/AANP/NCCPA (ER/UC experience preferred).
• Active PA or NP licensure in the practice state, plus DEA and CDS credentials.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete, detailed health histories and order appropriate labs/imaging.
• Formulate diagnoses and refer patients to the right facilities or resources.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization in critical situations.
• Interpret data to determine patient status and guide treatment.
• Provide health care guidance to patients and families.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
