Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to teach math or ELA to North American students through online 1:1 sessions. Tutors set a flexible schedule and conduct 50-minute classes. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of K-12 teaching experience are required, with strong knowledge of standards and reliable connectivity.

Independent contractor role with pay of $20 per class plus incentives; candidates must be US/Canada-based with a quiet home workspace and 20+ hours weekly availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
