Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp) is seeking experienced K-12 educators to join our online tutoring platform. You will deliver 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons to North American students, with a flexible, set schedule you determine, using the Cosmo curriculum.

This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least 3 years of teaching experience in ELA/ESL/ESOL, reliable internet, and a quiet home workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching grades K-12 (ELA/ESL/EFL).
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Must be based in United States or Canada and have reliable internet.
• Private, quiet teaching space and a fast connection.
• Commitment to at least 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for student age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
