Job summary

Cosmo offers an online tutoring opportunity for experienced educators to teach K-12 ELA to North American students in a flexible, 1:1 setting. You will conduct 50-minute lessons weekly at set times, maintaining reliability, preparation, and professional communication with students and parents.

The role is an independent contractor position with a $20 USD per class rate plus incentives, requiring a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
