Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to provide personalized 1:1 lessons to North American students using the Cosmo curriculum. You’ll teach from a flexible, self-set schedule with 50-minute sessions, and you’ll meet students online from K-12 ELA backgrounds.

As an independent contractor, you’ll earn $20 USD per class plus incentives. A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching experience are required, with reliable internet and a suitable workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
