Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp) is an online learning platform that connects K-12 students in the US, Canada and across Asia with tutors from top universities for personalized lessons. As a Cosmo 1:1 tutor you will teach 50‑minute 1:1 sessions to North American students, set a flexible weekly schedule, and create engaging materials in a welcoming online classroom.

This independent contractor role pays $20 USD per class plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 3 years teaching K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Reliable internet and computer access (Windows or Mac).

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
