Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 seeks experienced tutors to deliver 1:1 lessons to K-12 students in North America using Cosmo curriculum. You set a flexible schedule and teach 50-minute sessions online, building a welcoming, engaging learning environment.

This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching experience. Availability is 3–10 PM ET on weekdays or weekends, with at least 20 hours weekly and reliable internet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Fast and reliable internet; access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000.
• Currently located in the United States or Canada.
• Available between 3-10 PM EST Monday through Friday or on weekends; minimum 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction to students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials based on age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
