Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 tutors provide personalized one-on-one instruction to K-12 students using the Cosmo curriculum. You set a flexible, consistent schedule and teach students based in North America through 50-minute sessions.

As an independent contractor, you will maintain reliability, prepare age-appropriate materials, and communicate professionally with families. A bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of teaching experience in grades K-12 (ELA/ESL/EFL).
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC with adequate specs.
• Available 3-10 PM EST Mon-Fri or weekends.
• Minimum 20 hours of weekly availability.
• Currently located in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in Cosmo App.
• Prepare lesson materials suitable for age/ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents and students.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting.
• Coordinate with Cosmo staff.
