Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced educators to connect with K-12 students in North America for 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons after school, using the Cosmo curriculum. You set a flexible, regular schedule and teach as an independent contractor.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching; a reliable internet connection and a quiet, private workspace; and availability 3–10 PM EST on weekdays or weekends, with a minimum 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA/ESL/EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
