Job summary

CP Unlimited in Fishkill, NY is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to oversee vehicle scheduling, route planning, and fleet maintenance. You will maintain records, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering high-quality service to clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate vehicle scheduling to ensure timely transportation services.
• Maintain and manage vehicle, program, and transportation records; submit reports on time.
• Plan and coordinate efficient vehicle routes.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance logs and evaluate needs for repairs.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules with vendors.
• Maintain accurate vehicle inventory records and inventory tracking.
• Assume full responsibility for transportation operations, including fleet and inventory management.
• Maintain the vehicle fleet by ordering, repairing, maintaining, and replacing as needed.
• Identify, monitor, and report transportation regulatory compliance issues to upper management.
• Serve as a back-up driver when necessary.
• Support other departments with transportation and vehicle-related needs.
• Ensure non-exempt employees do not work overtime without prior approval.
• Represent CP Unlimited professionally to partners, coworkers, and the community.
• Communicate the agency’s mission and purpose effectively to stakeholders.
• Provide high-quality customer service with dignity, respect, and patience.
• Support inclusive practices reflecting the agency’s population needs.
• Work with a diverse population effectively.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings; adhere to policies.
• Conduct agency driver training.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
