Job summary

ACLD in Bethpage, NY is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to coordinate daily transportation operations for the Day and Residential programs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree is preferred.

A clean NYS driver's license and experience coordinating transportation for a provider agency are desired. Responsibilities include overseeing vehicle assignments, route adjustments, monitoring GPS/telematics, maintaining vehicle records, managing fuel cards and handicap

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience coordinating transportation services for a provider agency.
• Experience with individuals with I/DD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation operations and vehicle assignments.
• Assist with creation and maintenance of transportation routes as enrollment changes.
• Monitor GPS/Telematics systems and generate operational reports.
• Maintain Driver ID records and assist with troubleshooting.
• Coordinate vehicle preventive maintenance and repair scheduling.
