Werner Enterprises in Texas is seeking a operations-focused logistics supervisor to build and maintain driver relationships, addressing home time, payroll, equipment issues, and other driver needs through our systems and communications channels.

The role partners with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads, align with customer expectations, and coordinate across billing, safety, and maintenance to keep a full driver board and timely operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics.
• 2–3 years fleet management or transportation experience in truckload industry preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet driver needs (home time, payroll, etc.).
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Understand and adhere to customer dynamics service expectations and goals.
• Interface with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and vendors.
• Work with the Dedicated Logistics Manager/Operations Manager to fill and maintain a full driver board.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Timely and regular attendance according to scheduled shift.
