Job summary

Werner Enterprises in Texas is seeking a Fleet Manager/Logistics Supervisor to build strong driver relationships, understand home time, payroll and equipment needs, and align efforts with customer expectations. You will coordinate with multiple teams to optimize loads and service quality.

You should bring a Bachelor's degree or equivalent fleet experience, plus supervisory skills, and demonstrate solid organization, system proficiency, and commitment to Werner's safety and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years of fleet management/transportation experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and management skills; proficient with computer terminals and satellite communications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships addressing home time, payroll, and equipment issues.
• Partner with Dedicated/Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Adhere to customer dynamics service expectations and Werner's value.
• Interface with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and vendors.
• Work with managers to fill and maintain full driver board.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Maintain timely attendance per shift schedule.
