Werner Enterprises in Texas is seeking a mid-level Fleet Management/Logistics Supervisor to build and sustain driver relationships and optimize loads. You will collaborate with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to align loads with driver needs, origin/destination, and freight type.

Responsibilities include interfacing with billing, safety, payroll, and maintenance, ensuring on-time performance and full driver coverage, and adhering to customer service expectations while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• Two to three years of fleet management or transportation experience preferred.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and management abilities required.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain driver relationships and meet driver needs.
• Partner with managers to optimize driver loads based on origin, destination, type of freight, miles and stops.
• Adhere to customer dynamics service expectations to improve value for the Customer and Werner.
• Interface with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and external vendors.
• Work with Dedicated Logistics Manager to fill and maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Attend shifts as scheduled.
