Job summary

Ledcor's US Heavy Civil & Mining division seeks a Senior Manager, Asset Management to turn fleet strategy into a competitive advantage. You will shape major equipment investments, lifecycle planning and fleet performance to ensure the right equipment at the right time for project delivery.

This is a high-impact leadership role guiding capital budgets, long-range asset strategies, and informed business decisions across a large US fleet portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Asset Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in fleet/asset management, procurement, or leadership roles.
• Proven leadership in complex operational environments with strategic budget planning.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment lifecycle, rates, and rental vs ownership decisions.
• Experience negotiating with OEMs, equipment vendors, and service partners; mining/Heavy Civil experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the asset management team with clear priorities, performance expectations, and development plans.
• Develop and execute long-term fleet strategy aligning capacity with growth plans.
• Lead capital budgeting, forecasting, and fleet investment decisions to optimize financial performance.
• Oversee lifecycle strategies including acquisition, replacement, rental, and disposal decisions.
• Build partnerships with Operations, Finance, and suppliers to align fleet priorities and inform decisions.
