Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Senior Manager, Asset Management to shape the US Heavy Civil & Mining fleet. Drive the strategy behind investments, lifecycle planning, and supplier partnerships to ensure the right equipment at the right time for project delivery.

You will lead capital budgets, fleet investment decisions, and asset performance improvements, while coordinating with Operations, Finance, and Equipment Groups to optimize value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years in fleet or asset management leadership roles.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams in a complex, operational environment.
• Experience leading capital budgets, fleet investment planning, financial analysis, and long-range asset strategies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of heavy equipment lifecycle management, fleet economics, equipment rates, and rental-versus-ownership decisions.
• Experience building strategic relationships and negotiating with OEMs, equipment vendors, suppliers, and service partners; construction, mining, or heavy civil experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the asset management team, setting clear priorities, performance expectations, and development plans that strengthen accountability and results.
• Develop and execute the long-term fleet strategy for Ledcor’s US Heavy Civil & Mining business, aligning equipment capacity and capability with operational and growth plans.
• Lead capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and fleet investment decisions to optimize financial performance, asset utilization, and return on capital.
• Oversee equipment lifecycle strategies, including acquisition, replacement, major component planning, rental, leasing, and disposal decisions.
• Build strong partnerships with Operations, Finance, Ledcor Equipment Group, and Equipment Operations to align fleet priorities and support informed business decisions.
• Lead equipment sourcing and supplier relationships, including commercial negotiations, performance reviews, and strategies that improve availability, service, and overall fleet value.
