Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Manager for the KFS to lead the service department’s daily operations, ensuring high technician utilization and efficient billing. You will manage scheduling, safety compliance, and training, while coordinating with parts and service to optimize workflows.

The role requires 3–5 years in service operations, preferably in fleet services, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in a service environment.
• Background in fleet service operation or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technicians and daily service department operations.
• Maintain technician utilization of 85% or higher.
• Achieve service billing efficiency ratio above 75%.
• Control technician labor cost at or below 28% of revenue.
• Ensure training targets are met and maintained.
• Enforce corporate safety and quality procedures.
• Assist in recruiting and evaluating technicians.
• Coordinate work orders between parts and service.
• Ensure timely completion of shop jobs and safety issues addressed.
• Maintain inventory for service vans and paperwork for billing.
