Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a dynamic Commercial Service Manager to direct daily work orders, allocate tasks to technicians, and oversee safety and quality across service bays and the warehouse.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a commercial tire technician.
• 5+ years of experience assigning commercial service work orders to technicians.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to learn other software (Maddenco, AS400, SAP, BTN).
• Commercial TIA certification (strongly preferred).
• Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain following employment).
• Valid Driver's License or state equivalents and must be insurable to drive by company standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive, create, assign, and monitor all service work orders to technicians.
• Manage productivity of technicians, with a focus on monthly revenue goals.
• Provide ongoing training and skill development opportunities for technicians to enhance performance and stay current with industry standards.
• Step in to assist with work orders and technician tasks during high demand or staffing shortages.
• Assist branch manager with maintaining up-to-date employee administrative files.
• Provide sales staff support with service quotes, product look-ups, and any customer concerns.
• Oversee customer-scheduled fleet work, scrap tire analysis, and other customer needs.
• Assist with warehouse duties (inventory, load/unload, barcoding, scan billing).
• Conduct daily inspection of warehouse, service bays, trucks, and equipment to ensure safety, compliance, cleanliness, and organization.
• Ensure proper branch opening and closing procedures are followed.
