Job summary

Weston & Sampson in Wilmington, MA is seeking a Fleet Safety & Compliance Manager to support DOT compliance and vehicle safety across our regional fleet. The role collaborates with Human Resources to administer CDL exams, random drug testing, and coordinate inspections, maintenance, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years fleet/vehicle safety or safety management experience.
• Knowledge of multi-state DOT, CDL, and FMCSA regulations.
• Multi-State fleet regulatory knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, manage and coordinate multiple assignments.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Human Resources on annual DOT exams for CDL drivers.
• Coordinate random drug and alcohol testing for CDL/DOT drivers.
• Track annual vehicle inspections and coordinate state inspections.
• Assist Fleet Manager with regular vehicle maintenance and track due dates.
• Coordinate vehicle incident reporting within health and safety programs.
• Train, develop, schedule and lead safety trainings.
• Track and maintain vehicle safety metrics.
