Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the organization’s vehicle and machinery fleet, ensuring FMCSA/DOT compliance, safety training, and effective driver onboarding. You will lead a team, maintain licensing and permits, and collaborate with Finance on fleet accounts.

The role requires 7+ years of supervisory transportation experience, a valid license with clean MVR, and strong knowledge of DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 7+ years supervisory experience in the transportation industry.
• Familiar with FMCSA, OSHA, and DOT rules and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet maintenance for vehicles and machinery.
• Provide safety training and driver onboarding for GCNA and affiliates.
• Ensure FMCSA/DOT compliance and proper driver qualification files.
• Coordinate driver training, safety committees, and risk management.
• Manage vendor relationships for vehicle transportation and maintenance.
• Ensure DOT reporting requirements are accurate and up to date.
• Lead performance management, coaching, and staff development.
• Promote GCNA core values and drive safety culture changes.
