Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the organization's vehicle and equipment fleet, drive safety programs, and ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance across the Transportation Department.

You will lead driver training, onboarding, and performance development, coordinate with Safety, Risk, and Finance, and manage vendor relationships for maintenance, registration, and insurance, while modeling Goodwill's core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 7+ years supervisory experience in the transportation industry.
• Familiar with FMCSA, OSHA, and DOT rules and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the organization’s fleet of vehicles and industrial machinery.
• Provides driver safety training and onboarding for the Transportation Department.
• Ensures DOT/FMCSA reporting requirements are accurate and up to date.
• Coordinates maintenance, registrations, and insurance with vendors and Finance.
• Develops safety strategies and leads the Driver Safety Committee.
