Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Clerk in Tucson to provide administrative support for the maintenance function. You will ensure parts availability, maintain fleet records, and input data into the fleet system daily.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, preparing purchase orders with GL codes, and supporting the Fleet Manager with analysis of fleet operations and trends. The role requires related industry experience and basic office skills.

Qualifications

• Related experience in a maintenance / trucking industry.
• 1 year of office experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure parts are available cost-effectively.
• Maintain fleet inventory, preventive maintenance schedules, and maintenance records on all units.
• Input fleet information daily into the fleet management system.
• Coordinate with vendors to order, receive and pay for goods and services.
• Prepare truck purchase orders for management approval with GL codes.
• Process transactions in ePro.
• Receive, tag, stock and dispense parts to mechanics per policy.
• Review purchase orders with accounting for payment accuracy.
• Produce productivity and usage reports for management.
• Support Fleet Manager with fleet operation analysis and data trends.
