Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to provide administrative support to the maintenance function. The role includes ensuring parts availability, maintaining fleet records, and data entry into the fleet management system.

The position supports the Fleet Manager, handles purchase orders, and coordinates with accounting on invoices while upholding safety policies and procedures. This is a full-time role within our operations network.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general office experience or equivalent training.
• Related experience in a maintenance / trucking industry.

Responsibilities

• Assures the availability of parts in a cost-effective manner.
• Maintains fleet records on inventory levels and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Inputs fleet information into the fleet management system daily.
• May contact vendors to order, receive and ensure payment for goods and services.
• Prepares truck purchase orders for management approval and assigns GL codes.
