Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to provide administrative support for the maintenance function. The role includes managing parts availability, updating fleet records, data entry into the fleet system, and coordination with vendors on orders and payments.

The position requires related maintenance/trucking experience and at least 1 year of general office experience or equivalent training. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

• 1 year of general office experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Ensures parts availability in a cost-effective manner.
• Maintains fleet records on inventory, preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Inputs fleet information into the fleet management system daily.
• Acts as point of contact with vendors to order, receive and pay for goods/services.
• Prepares truck purchase orders for management approval with GL codes.
• Receives, tags, stocks and dispenses parts to mechanics per policy.
• Reviews purchase orders with accounting for accuracy and payment.
• Produces productivity and usage reports for management review.
• Adheres to safety policies and assists team in meeting safety goals.
• Reconciles Dossier data to Lawson general ledger.
