Job summary

AAA Northeast in Millbury, MA is seeking a Fleet Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activity of Fleet drivers, ensure world-class service, enforce safety procedures, and maintain Road Service policies.

You will train drivers, review schedules, manage overtime, and resolve service or member issues. Requires supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license, and DOT pre-hire within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required or 3–4 years of relevant work experience.
• 1–3 years on-the-job tow experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Active and valid driver’s license issued by only one state or jurisdiction required.
• DOT card pre-hire and as a current employee within 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily activity of Fleet drivers, ensuring world-class service while following safety procedures.
• Interviews, hires recommendations, identifies training needs and evaluates staff performance.
• Delivers training on policies, procedures and safety to drivers.
• Resolves service or member problems and ensures satisfaction and safety.
• Performs daily inspections of drivers and vehicles and maintains fleet records.
• Initiates driver injury investigations and supports safety processes.
• Manages inventory and responds to road service calls as needed.
• Opens/closes Fleet Operations Center and ensures security.
