Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in La Vergne, TN, is offering an Operations Management Trainee program designed to develop your skills across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, and Quality. You will learn to manage a heavy-duty truck repair shop while earning pay during training and advancing toward an Ops Supervisor path.

Location: LaVergne, TN; Schedule: Monday - Friday; Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm; Salary: Paid weekly.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience preferred.
Strong PC knowledge/skills including spreadsheet and word processing software.
Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics.

Responsibilities

Maintain quality customer interface, proactive management, issue resolution and satisfaction.
Coordinate with the rental department to maximize utilization.
Collaborate with Sales on calls for new business and satisfaction.
Manage running costs and maintenance overheads; optimize costs.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing for customer satisfaction.
Schedule PMs, follow up on breakdowns and vehicle status; plan technician work.
